Woman killed, man wounded in shooting at Amazon warehouse in Florida

A woman was killed and a man wounded in a shooting at an Amazon warehouse in Florida on Tuesday night, a report said.

The shooting occurred about 7:30 p.m. at the Amazon Fulfillment Center on Pecan Park Road in Jacksonville, authorities told WJXT.

Police did not immediately provide information on a possible suspect, but said the incident did not appear to be an active shooter situation.

Both victims are believed to be Amazon employees, Lt. J.D. Stronko of the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office told the news station.

A witness told the outlet she saw the apparent victims on the ground by a warehouse staircase.

“It was actual gunshots, and we walked a couple steps, you see two people laid out by the stairs,” she said.
