Two Fort Hood soldiers among nine arrested in child sex trafficking sting

Three soldiers, including two stationed at Fort Hood, were busted for allegedly trying to pay for sex with underage girls over social media, police said Monday.

The military members were among nine men arrested over the weekend as part of an online child prostitution sting in Texas, Killeen Police said.

“The overall goal … was to locate and arrest subjects who were willing to make overt efforts to pay minors to engage in sexual acts,” the department said in a statement.

The suspects contacted officers they believed were 15 or 16 year old girls and agreed to exchange money, drugs or alcohol for sexual acts, cops said.

They were nabbed when they arrived at the location where they’d been expecting to meet the teens.

Police handed out seven felony prostitution charges, two misdemeanor prostitution charges and confiscated two guns.

Among those arrested were Anthony Xavier Antwon, 25, and Timmy Jones Jr., 30, who are stationed at Fort Hood, while Pierre Jean, 32, is stationed at a base in San Antonio, a police spokeswoman said.

The others were identified as Brian Harley Flynn, 21, of Temple; Brandon Anthony Lee, 25, of Killeen; Rakeem Jamal Nelson, 28, of Killeen; Shaun Paul Moore, 39, of Kempner and Javier Perez, 40, of Austin.

The two-day sting was conducted by the Killeen Police Department Special Victim’s Unit in partnership with the Texas Department of Public Safety Human Trafficking Program.
