Tory Lanez uses new album to deny shooting Megan Thee Stallion

Tory Lanez used his album, “Daystar,” to deny shooting Megan Thee Stallion.

On the 17-track album, which was initially released on SoundCloud, 28-year-old Lanez uses nearly every song to address the incident from earlier this year and what took place afterward. In what will likely become an iconic question, Lanez asks on “Money Over Fallouts,” “How the f–k you get shot in your foot, don’t hit no bones or tendons?”

Lanez continues, “How the f–k your team is trying to pay me in some whole millions? / I just lost like $10 million because this cold business / But I got like 10 million followers that’s gon’ roll with me / Fans that support me because they know my heart.”

Over the summer, Megan shared a graphic photo of the stitches in her foot following the alleged shooting to silence the critics who claimed she was lying.

Lanez even uses his album to discuss Kylie Jenner’s involvement in the evening, implying that Megan was jealous of his flirting with Jenner that night.

“Me and Kylie still off in the pool / We was chilling, kicking s–t, was cool / Both of us didn’t know you was tripping,” he raps. “Even though I got a crush on Kylie, I woulda left with you if I knew you was dipping, for the simple reason / You invited me, but I can’t act like shawty didn’t excite me.”

Despite denying that he shot her, Lanez does offer the “WAP” rapper an apology.

“There’s traumas in my past that make me talk loud and lash at you / Sorry for the times my attitude mixed with the status too.”

Lanez faced backlash earlier in the evening over a cryptic tweet that implied he would talk about the Megan incident. Instead, he promoted his new album.

Little did fans know the album would do all the talking.
