Swiss watchmaker Vacheron Constantin is the mystery tenant coming to 30 E. 57th St. — the latest high-end boutique to claim a previously vacant East 57th Street retail location.
We reported on Jan. 29 that luxury-brands giant Richemont — which owns Cartier, Buccellati and Piaget among other glam names — had made a deal for the vacant, 4,500-square-foot showplace just east of Madison Avenue.
But it wasn’t known which Richemont brand would be the tenant. Vacheron Constantin US president Leslie Kobrin said last week that its new home would be four times larger than its current digs at 729 Madison Ave. at East 64th Street.
Terms of the deal weren’t revealed. Amira Yunis led a CBRE team that represented the landlord, a local partnership.
