Rita Wilson pays tribute to husband Tom Hanks on 64th birthday

Tom Hanks received a heartwarming message from his wife of 32 years, Rita Wilson, for his 64th birthday on Thursday.

“Happy Birthday, @tomhanks We love you so much,” Wilson, 63, captioned a photo of her husband on Instagram. “You are our anchor.”

The singer, who along with Hanks recovered from the coronavirus earlier this year, added, “Every day with you is a blessing.” She also quoted the lyrics to The Beatles song “When I’m Sixty-Four.”

Hanks and Wilson were one of the first celebrities to publicly reveal a COVID-19 diagnosis. After recovering, the stars decided to donate their blood and plasma to help develop a vaccine.

Famous pals of the pair commented under Wilson’s post, including Julia Roberts, who wrote, “What a snap! Happy Birthday to Tom. I love him and YOU.”

Richard Marx, Cindy Crawford, Kyle Richards, Garcelle Beauvais and many others also sent their well wishes.

Hanks’ son Colin Hanks jokingly shared a picture of Michael Keaton — which has become a running gag between Colin and his dad — and wrote, “Happy Birthday Pops !!! Another trip around the Sun, and another birthday post for YOU!”

Meanwhile, Hanks captioned a video of himself diving into a pool with what appears to be a nod to his 2020 war drama “Greyhound.” He wrote, “This Greyhound is 64!! Hanx.”
