'Forensic Files' has a surprising celebrity fan club

(CNN)Dwayne Johnson apparently likes to watch "Forensic Files" during his cheat meals.

Matchbox 20 frontman Rob Thomas is also a fan of the show. So is Broadway star Audra McDonald.

The list of celebrity couch detectives who have professed their love for the criminal investigation series is surprising. Bill Hader has seen every episode. Kim Kardashian watches "Forensic Files" before bed.

Lea Salonga, the singing voice behind "Mulan," took to Twitter about the show recently, writing, "I've watched enough episodes of Forensic Files to know that not everything is always as it initially seems. The truth always comes out in the end. Even when there isn't a body."

They'll all be happy to know the new season's premiere landed Sunday on HLN. (CNN and HLN share parent company WarnerMedia.) The newly updated "Forensic Files II" features 16 new episodes.

Since 2011, HLN has aired repeats of "Forensic Files."

But not like that is really an issue for die hard fans.

Take "RuPaul's Drag Race" queen Bianca Del Rio, who said on Twitter during a binge-fest, "Forensic files sucked me in AGAIN!!!!!!!"
